COLUMBIA UNION COLLEGE BROADCASTING Contemporary Christian WGTS (91.9)/WASHINGTON DC welcomes TOM MINER, who has joined JOHNNY and STACEY STONE in the afternoon.
TOM brings his many years of broadcast experience and knowledge of the DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA to the afternoon -rive shift and will work side by side with JOHNNY and STACEY STONE.
TOM will also help provide the Millennial perspective to WGTS 91.9’s on-air content, events, and listener engagement strategy. TOM is 22 years old and already has eight years of broadcast experience with organizations like WGTS 91.9, CHRISTIAN FM MEDIA GROUP, and also on-air television experience with FOX 46 CHARLOTTE.
TOM said, "We have an incredible responsibility and opportunity ahead of us in the Nation's Capitol. I'm thrilled to get to work alongside my amazing team. Part of what made this decision so easy for me is the fact that I consider my co-workers at WGTS 91.9 an extension of my family. In OCTOBER of this year, I will celebrate five years with WGTS 91.9 and with the people who have truly helped me continue to grow and learn new ideas every single day."
VP/GM KEVIN KRUEGER added, "TOM is an amazingly well-rounded, gifted, and humble media talent -- the kind of person many radio stations wish to have on their team. We are honored and grateful that he has chosen to join us full time."
