FISHER COMMUNICATIONS' third-quarter revenue from continuing operations rose 9% to $109.98 million, and net losses from continuing operations narrowed from $1.1 million to $784,000 (including a tax expense adjustment of $388,000 after an audit of the company's 2003 tax return).
The company closed on the sale of 18 small-market stations and plans to sell six more. It also closed on the purchase of the UNIVISION affiliate in PORTLAND, OR and on KWOG-TV/SEATTLE.
