ACCURADIO COO/Chairman JOHN GEHRON will receive the LIFETIME ROCKWELL AWARD during THE CONCLAVE’s 42nd Summer Learning Conference on JULY 26-28 at THE DOUBLETREE BY HILTON, MINNEAPOLIS – PARK PLACE. 

The ROCKWELL is a lifetime achievement award. GEHRON, who began his broadcasting career in 1970 in PHILADELPHIA as PD of CBS RADIO WCAU (now WOGL), has been COO/Chairman of ACCURADIO since 1989. He’s also had stops in NEW YORK and CHICAGO, and held executive positions at AMERICAN RADIO SERVICES, INFINITY BROADCASTING, CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO and HARPO RADIO/XM SATELLITE RADIO.

CONCLAVE Board of Directors Chair LORI LEWIS said, “THE ROCKWELL AWARD honors those who have made a lasting impact on our storied industry. While I have my own inspirational JOHN GEHRON story, I’d like to hear all of the other JOHN GEHRON stories running through the radio hallways. We want capture those stories on video as we honor JOHN. We need them by JULY 14th.”

GEHRON said, “What an honor to receive THE ROCKWELL AWARD! I have great respect for THE CONCLAVE and how hard the board works to provide a true learning experience for broadcasters.”
