WMGC Raises $94,000 For The Needy

GREATER MEDIA AC WMGC (MAGIC 105.1)/DETROIT raised $94,000 and filled four trucks with clothing to benefit THE CAPUCHIN SOUP KITCHEN. JIM HARPER & THE MAGIC MORNING SHOW broadcast live from the GORDON CHEVROLET dealership in GARDEN CITY to collect clothing and raise money for the organization's soup kitchen and computer center where volunteers teach children computer skills. In addition to the money raised through a phone bank, funds were also generated by sales of "The Magic Family Favorite Recipe Book" and an auction.
