URBAN ONE Urban WKYS (93.9)/WASHINGTON, D.C. is relocating JOSHUA “J1” RAIFORD for PD duty. He previously was programming sister Urban WHHH (HOT 96.3) and Classic Hip-Hop WNOW-HD2 (BOOM 102.9) in INDIANAPOLIS (NET NEWS 11/21/16).

RAIFORD said, “I'm humbled, honored and excited about this great opportunity. I thank GOD first and foremost, and I would also like to thank JAY STEVENS, JEFF WILSON and KASHON POWELL for selecting me for this tremendous responsibility.”

RAIFORD replaces NEKE HOWSE who recently left the company.
