Longtime WNCY/Green Bay Morning Co-Host 'Bear' Set To Retire

No official information as of press time, but ALL ACCESS has learned that longtime MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Country WNCY (Y100)/GREEN BAY, WI morning co-host BEAR, of "THE BEAR AND CHARLI MORNING SHOW" has decided to retire.

His co-host CHARLI MCKENZIE – who doubles as WNCY MD – posted on her FACEBOOK page TODAY (6/23), "My partner in crime has decided to hang up the headphones and sleep in! BEAR announced he's retiring this morning – join us at RICO's in FREEDOM [on] MONDAY morning to send this guy off!" BEAR has been in radio since 1978, the last 17 years with WNCY; no word on plans for his successor so far.
