Pop quiz: What’s gassy, drooling... 125 pounds... and a freshly minted superstar? MARTHA, the Neapolitan Mastiff just crowned 2017 World’s Ugliest Dog! 

ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS AC WLNK (THE LINK)/CHARLOTTE’s nationally syndicated morning show, “BOB & SHERI,” once again emceed this international event drawing press from around the world, including coverage on GOOD MORNING AMERICA, THE TODAY SHOW and in PEOPLE MAGAZINE. The Worlds Ugliest Dog benefits animal rescue and has been an annual event in PETALUMA since 1962. The event has grown every year, becoming an International Social Media phenomenon, complete with its own SNAPCHAT story. This year’s crop of contestants even included a balding, portly, snaggle-toothed mutt, all the way from WALES in the U.K. 

In addition to emceeing the competition, BOB & SHERI offered listeners a behind the-scenes peek at the dogs via FACEBOOK LIVE. As veteran judge BRIAN SOBEL said, “It just wouldn’t be the World’s Ugliest Dog without BOB & SHERI.” They are sure hoping that’s a compliment!
