WESTWOOD ONE has picked up the PHIL VALENTINE SHOW for national syndication starting JANUARY 2. The show originates at CUMULUS Talk WWTN (SUPERTALK 99.7 WTN)/NASHVILLE and airs in afternoon drive. VALENTINE is a veteran host with experience in NASHVILLE and at WWDB/PHILADELPHIA.
"WESTWOOD ONE is delighted to bring THE PHIL VALENTINE SHOW, one of local radio’s most successful talk shows, to the national stage," said WW1 EVP/Affiliate Sales DENNIS GREEN. "PHIL has scored huge ratings, whether it has been mornings in PHILADELPHIA or pm drive in NASHVILLE, and now it’s time for a guy who is a natural for Talk radio audiences to take the national airwaves by storm. As PHIL would say, 'It’s just common sense.'"
VALENTINE added, "I'm thrilled to be teaming up with AMERICA's preeminent Talk radio syndicator, WESTWOOD ONE. We plan to build on our success in markets like NASHVILLE and HOUSTON and bring this common-sense talk show to the rest of the country."
