Drive Outside Fort Wayne Arena To Be Named 'Bob Chase Way' After Late WOWO Komets Announcer

The circle drive in front of FORT WAYNE's ALLEN COUNTY WAR MEMORIAL COLISEUM will be named "BOB CHASE Way" in honor of the late longtime FORT WAYNE KOMETS minor league hockey radio voice.

CBS affiliate WANE-TV reports that the arena's Board of Trustees has voted to bestow the honor on CHASE, who passed away last THANKSGIVING at 90 after 64 years of calling KOMETS games on WOWO-A-F/FORT WAYNE.
