TODD LAWLEY has resigned as CITADEL West Region Pres. and is forming and becoming CEO of TUCSON-based PEAK BROADCASTING. In partnership with private investment firm DUFF, ACKERMAN & GOODRICH (DAG), LAWLEY will focus PEAK on the identification, acquisition and operation of radio stations throughout the U.S.
"The time is right for me to take advantage of the opportunities that have recently become available throughout the radio industry," LAWLEY said. "Partnering with DAG to build a quality, world-class broadcasting organization is something I could not pass up. I would also like to thank CITADEL CEO FARID SULEMAN and COO JUDY ELLIS for the opportunity they have afforded me. I am leaving CITADEL's West Region with company-leading growth and record profits. They have a talented group of broadcasters that will ensure CITADEL’s West Region will be well positioned for 2007."

DAG co-founder JOHN DUFF said, "We have had successful investments in the radio industry in the past and believe now is a very interesting time to be looking at the industry again. Our success has been dependent on the quality of our senior management, and in TODD LAWLEY we are delighted that we have one of the top operators in the industry."
