Prices Disclosed For Tallahassee, Western Massachusetts, Phoenix Deals

The price for RED HILLS BROADCASTING, LLC's sale of Top 40 WHTF (HOT 104.9)/HAVANA-TALLAHASSEE, FL; Country WWOF (103.1 THE WOLF) and Classic Rock-Triple A WQTL (106.1 THE SOUND)/TALLAHASSEE, FL; and Adult Hits WANK (99.9 HANK FM)/LAFAYETTE, FL to ADAMS RADIO OF TALLAHASSEE, LLC is $6,197,000, according to the contract filed with the FCC. The price was not disclosed when the deal was announced last week.
In another deal that was announced last week without disclosing a price, TOWNSQUARE MEDIA's purchase of News-Talk WBEC-A, Hot AC WBEC-F (LIVE 95.9), and Classic Hits WUPE-A (WHOOPIE)/PITTSFIELD, MA and W231AK/GREAT BARRINGTON, MA from GAMMA BROADCASTING LLC and Classic Hits WUPE-F (WHOOPIE) and W277CJ/PITTSFIELD, News-Talk WNAW-A/NORTH ADAMS, MA, and News-Talk WSBS-A/GREAT BARRINGTON by acquiring the capital stock of BERKSHIRE BROADCASTING CO., INC. is priced at $3,535,000, plus $20,000 separately to NORTHEAST AIRCHECKS, LLC for W231AK. The deal was announced by the broker without a price being included in the release.
Also finally disclosing a price, the sale by RIVIERA BROADCASTING, LLC of K270BZ/PHOENIX to FARMWORKER EDUCATIONAL RADIO NETWORK, INC., is priced at $1.1 million, according to the contract with the FCC filing. The primary station will be Regional Mexican KNAI-A/PHOENIX.
Another PHOENIX station being sold is Silent KPHX-A, which CONTINENTAL BROADCASTING CORP. OF ARIZONA, INC. is selling to VIC MICHAEL's CEDAR COVE BROADCASTING, INC. for $100,000. The station went silent with the move of syndicated radio programming from the AMC-8 satellite to the AMC-18 satellite; the KPHX dish could not be reoriented to the new satellite at its present site.
Elsewhere in the FCC database, SHAMROCK COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling Alternative KRZQ/FALLON, NV and its booster KRZQ-FM1/RENO to JOHN BURKAVAGE's BIG HORN MEDIA, INC. for $200,000 plus an LMA before closing.
KANZA, INC. is selling Country KMZU and Top 40 KAOL-A (101.3 THE GRENADE)/CARROLLTON, MO, Classic Country KRLI (COUNTRY 103.9)/MALTA BEND, MO, and K267BN/BOSWORTH, MO to MILES CARTER's CARTER MEDIA LLC for a price undisclosed in the contract filed with the FCC.
RED DESERT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC is transferring Country KREO/JAMES TOWN, WY to PILOT BUTTE BROADCASTING LLC in a transaction in which JOHN and KELLI KING are buying out partners ROBERT and DEBRA CORNMAN for $50,000 in 48 payments.
COMMON FREQUENCY, INC. is selling Variety KXRY (XRAY.FM)/PORTLAND to CASCADE EDUCATIONAL BROADCAST SERVICE for $16,000.
The HATTIE REESE TRUST, via Trustee WANDA DRY, is transferring Oldies WJLX-A/JASPER, AL to JOHN BURDETTE with the court-ordered termination of the trust.
LEWIS COUNTY PRESS, LLC is swapping CHEROKEEAN HERALD KTLU LLC, licensee of Classic Hits KTLU-A (CLASSIC HITS 103.9) and K280CL/RUSK, TX, to COATES CONSULTING, LLC for COATES' 25% interest in the licensee plus $25,000. LCP will end up with the CHEROKEEAN HERALD weekly newspaper and COATES will get the radio stations.
JER LICENSES, LLC is selling Hot AC KKVC/DOTSERO, CO to ALL NATIONS MANAGEMENT LLC for $47,500.
ROBERTO CUBERO is buying out partners CARL CUCHAJ (35%) and BONNIE KARP (16%) for 100% control of SUPER W MEDIA GROUP, INC., licensee of Regional Mexican WIPC-A (SUPER W 1280)/LAKE WALES, FL in exchange for allowing CUCHAJ to sell the station's real property to a third party.
