Former WGN/Chicago Traffic Reporter Mike Mathis Passes Away At 68

Condolences to family and friends of former TRIBUNE MEDIA News-Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO traffic reporter MIKE MATHIS, who the station reports has passed away at 68.

MATHIS was with WGN for 25 years in 1983, when he started on WALLY PHILLIPS' morning show, through 2008, as helicopter traffic reporter.  He was inducted onto the WGN RADIO WALK OF FAME just this year.

Viewing will be at KERRY FUNERAL HOME in PALOS HEIGHTS, IL on THURSDAY (7/20) 3-9p (CT), followed by Mass on FRIDAY at 11a (CT) at INCARNATION CATHOLIC CHURCH in PALOS HEIGHTS.
