WDYL's Sludge Raises Over 10,000 Lbs. Of Food From 'Show Us Your Cans'

Sludge Shows Off The Cans

COX RADIO Alternative WDYL (Y101)/RICHMOND morning man SLUDGE raised over 10,000 pounds of food for the CENTRAL VIRGINIA FOODBANK during a weeklong "SHOW US YOUR CANS 2006" broadcast (10/30-11/3) from an 18-wheel truck located at a gas station.

This was the highest total of food raised in the event’s four-year history. The Y101 Annual holiday food drive continues through mid-DECEMBER at various drop-off locations.
