The details of GEORGE PLASTER's return to NASHVILLE radio are now official, with the market veteran's new show on RYMAN HOSPITALITY PROPERTIES Classic Country WSM-A/NASHVILLE set for SUNDAYs from 5p until 8p (CT) starting this WEEKEND, reports THE TENNESSEAN. WSM-A PD JONATHAN SHAFFER will co-host the new show; PLASTER will continue his WEEKDAY job as Assoc. Dir./Athletics at BELMONT UNIVERSITY while hosting the weekly program. News of PLASTER's return leaked last week (NET NEWS 7/20).

PLASTER left crosstown THE CROMWELL GROUP Sports WPRT (102.5 THE GAME) last AUGUST and spent several years before that hosting at CUMULUS Sports WGFX (104.5 THE ZONE) and News-Talk WWTN (SUPER TALK 99.5 WTN). PLASTER started as a reporter on WSM's morning show with RALPH EMERY.
