Westwood One Promotes Six In Revamp Of 24-Hour Formats Management

WESTWOOD ONE has reorganized its 24-Hour Formats operation and made several promotions. The syndicator says that the new organization under VPs of Programming GEORGE KING (Country), CHERI MARQUART (Contemporary), and DAVID FELKER (Gold) " gives every affiliate a single point of contact with a senior programming executive supported by a dedicated team of experts including a Program Operations Manager, Music & Promotion Director, and System Operator."
DAVE CAREY and MELODY MORGAN have been promoted to Program Operations Managers, joining LIZ ADAMS in that position; AL VERTUCCI (Gold) and GERRY DIXON (Contemporary) have been promoted to Music & Promotion Directors; BILL THORPE has been promoted to System Operator; and HEATHER MARTINEZ has been promoted to Promotion Manager.
