Rohde & Schwarz Adds Three Industry Vets As Repack Issues Loom For TV, FM

Transmitter, test and measurement, and studio equipment maker ROHDE & SCHWARZ has hired three industry veterans as the TV repack and consequent effects on co-located FM stations looms.

Added to the company are COMARK COMMUNICATIONS Customer Service Field Engineer DEVIN WICKHAM and AT&T Senior Consultant FAIZAL IQBAL as Application Engineers and BROADCAST ELECTRONICS Eastern U.S. Sales Manager DON BACKUS as Account Manager for Radio and HD Products.

“The 39-month timeline for the FCC repack is a challenge for all of us, and having the right people and structure in place will be essential for success,” said VP of Broadcast and Media ERIK BALLADARES. “We are excited to add these industry veterans to the 500-plus employees of our North American team. They will help provide our TV and radio customers with the support and service they need.”
