ALL ACCESS extends sympathies to NASHVILLE Mayor MEGAN BARRY and husband BRUCE BARRY, following the unexpected passing of their son, MAX, in COLORADO on SATURDAY (7/29). He was 22.
YESTERDAY (7/30), the couple released a statement regarding the tragedy: “Early this morning, we received news that no parents should ever have to hear. Our son MAX suffered from an overdose and passed away. We cannot begin to describe the pain and heartbreak that comes with losing our only child. Our son was a kind soul full of life and love for his family and friends. Our family would greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers, and would respectfully ask for privacy as we mourn the loss of our child and begin to understand a world without his laughter and love in our lives.”
A visitation will be held TODAY (7/31) at the MARTHA RIVERS INGRAM CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS at the BLAIR SCHOOL OF MUSIC, 2400 Blakemore Ave, from 5 to 8p (CT). A memorial will be held TOMORROW (8/1) at 10a (CT), at the BELCOURT THEATER, 2102 Belcourt Ave. Doors open at 8:30a. In memory of MAX, contributions can be made to the OASIS CENTER or NASHVILLE HUMANE ASSN.
