SESAC Inks Adele For U.S. Performing Rights Representation

In what is clearly a shot against the PRO domination of ASCAP and BMI, ADELE has moved to SESAC PERFORMING RIGHTS for representation in the U.S., it was announced today by SESAC HOLDINGS INC. Chairman/CEO JOHN JOSEPHSON. 

SESAC describes itself as the "only Music Rights Organization in the U.S."  Just last week ASCAP and BMI announced their intention to pool their information in a joint, comprehensive database (NET NEWS 7/26) that pointedly omitted SESAC.
