JEREMY HAMMOND has been tapped as Sr. VP/A&R for SANCTUARY RECORDS NORTH AMERICA. He moves over from the SANCTUARY GROUP, where he had been SVP/Artist Development.
HAMMOND began his career in AUSTRALIA, working for SONY in sales and radio promotion, before moving to the U.K. to work at EMI. He moved to the U.S. and became CAPITOL RECORDS Head of Marketing and Artist Development. After a period at UNIVERSAL, HAMMOND joined SANCTUARY in 2004.
"JEREMY brings a wealth of experience, great personal network and wide breadth of musical knowledge to the table," SANCTUARY Exec. VP/GM BOB CAHILL says. "Like the rest of us at SANCTUARY, he has a deep appreciation and respect for rock in all its forms. I’m confident he’ll be a terrific face for the creative community and a key driver of new relationships for our revitalized company."
HAMMOND says, "I am delighted to be part of the new era of SANCTUARY and the new team. I am looking forward to signing and developing a unique blend of undiscovered and already established artists here in NORTH AMERICA."
