  Among the announcements in the recent EMMY Award nominations was that the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCES will be bestowing a News and Documentary EMMY Award for Lifetime Achievement to CHARLES OSGOOD.
  The host of WESTWOOD ONE's "THE OSGOOD FILE," who retired in 2016 from CBS television's "SUNDAY MORNING," will be honored on OCTOBER 5th in NEW YORK.
