After announcing that he is leaving his post as analyst for TENNESSEE TITANS radio broadcasts (NET NEWS 8/3) for a year due to cognitive issues related to concussions from his playing days, former TITANS tight end FRANK WYCHECK is now also leaving his co-hosting duties on CUMULUS Sports WGFX (104.5 THE ZONE)/NASHVILLE's "THE WAKE-UP ZONE" morning show "in the next few weeks," reports THE TENNESSEAN, citing "two media sources."
WYCHECK will remain with the station as a "floater," the report indicates, filling in and offering commentary on other shows, but wil be replaced by present afternoon "3HL" co-host and former TITANS DB BLAINE BISHOP on the morning show alongside MARK HOWARD and KEVIN INGRAM. The report also says that former crosstown ABC affiliate WKRN-TV morning anchor DAWN DAVENPORT will take BISHOP's place on "3HL."
