JEFF DUBAY is in legal trouble again, as the former iHEARTMEDIA Sports KFXN (KFAN)/MINNEAPOLIS "P.A. AND DUBAY" co-host and HUBBARD Sports KSTP-A (1500 ESPN)/ST. PAUL host has been charged with felony assault after an incident at his COTTAGE GROVE, MN home.
NBC affiliate KARE-TV reports that DUBAY, 49, was arrested AUGUST 2nd and charged with assaulting a woman who was found by police bleeding from her mouth with a tooth missing and a bump on her head. The victim told police that DUBAY shoved and punched her when she objected to his bringing another woman to the house; she said she could not escape due to her prosthetic legs. DUBAY denies all the allegations.
DUBAY's tenure at KFAN ended in 2008 after an arrest for cocaine possession; he twice spent time in a workhouse for failing drug offense diversion programs, then landed at 1500 ESPN in 2013 but left a year later and started a podcast. Most recently, he was arrested in 2015 for meth possession and was sentenced last AUGUST to 6 months in jail and 10 years of probation.
