Jimmy Barrett To Co-Host 'Houston's Morning News' On KTRH-A/Houston

iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WRVA-A-W253BI/RICHMOND morning host JIMMY BARRETT is heading to sister News-Talk KTRH-A/HOUSTON as the late MATT PATRICK's replacement as co-host with SHARA FRYER of "HOUSTON'S MORNING NEWS," 5-8a (CT) weekdays, starting SEPTEMBER 11th.  PATRICK died in early JULY after a battle with esophageal cancer.

“JIMMY has a big voice, a big heart and big shoes to fill,” said iHEARTMEDIA HOUSTON Director of AM Programming BRYAN ERICKSON. “It’s impossible for anyone to replace MATT PATRICK and we all know that. I think MATT’s audience will embrace JIMMY as we move forward from what has been a very difficult time.”
