Alan Miller, Gary Stone Resign From SBS Board Of Directors

Two members of SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM's Board Of Directors have abruptly resigned before their terms expired.
ALAN MILLER emailed SBS Chairman, "Dear RAÚL, I have decided to resign from the Board Of Directors of SBS because my advice to SBS on the restructuring of its capital structure has been rejected,” adding, “Please find my resignation letter attached to this email.”
GARY STONE is also exiting, although he didn’t provide a reason for the move.
MILLER became an SBS Director on JUNE 6, 2014. He co-founded (in 1969) and was a Senior Partner in the Business, Finance and Restructuring practice of the law firm of WEIL, GOTSHAL & MANGES, LLP in which role he counseled boards of directors and senior management of dozens of large and complex business entities and financial institutions until he retired at the end of 2005. Since then he has served as the trustee of the COLLINS & AIKMAN LITIGATION TRUST and as an independent director on more than a dozen boards of directors. Currently, he serves as a director of a PIMCO closed-end investment funds and CEVA Holdings LLC and CEVA Group LP.
STONE joined the SBS Board on JUNE 6, 2014. His extensive experience in the Broadcast industry includes 25 years with UNIVISION RADIO, of which he served as Pres./COO for five and COO for ten. STONE has 40 years of Broadcast experience, 30 of which are in Spanish media. He is currently the Pres./CEO of STRATEGIC THINKING ONE ON ONE, a firm that works with Top Tier Advertising Agencies and syndicated Radio Shows. STONE also serves on the boards of ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL Executive Leadership Board and the National Council of LA RAZA. He is also an author of two books on the Radio Industry.
