No new deals crossed the virtual transom at the FCC database TODAY (8/24), with just one Silent STA request and a handful of closings on the list.

In the filings, NORTHWEST COMMUNITY COLLEGE, STATE OF WYOMING has requested a Silent STA for KNWT/CODY, WY after being locked out of its tower; the college alleges that LEGEND TOWERS, LLC responded to questions about the lease by allegedly powering down the transmitter and locking the licensee out of the building.

CUMULUS' RADIO LICENSE HOLDING CBC, LLC has closed on the sale of Silent KFNZ-A/SALT LAKE CITY, UT to VIC MICHAEL's KONA COAST RADIO, LLC for $100,000.
