Former NASHVILLE PREDATORS defenseman HAL GILL will serve as analyst alongside PETE WEBER on the PREDS' radio broadcasts this year on CROMWELL Sports WPRT (102.5 THE GAME)/NASHVILLE. GILL replaces BRENT PETERSON, who will move to provide analysis with host DARREN MCFARLAND on the PREDS' pre-game and post-game shows; MARK HOWARD will host in-arena game breaks and special 20th season vignettes.
The changes also extend to TV, where former PREDATOR CHRIS MASON will serve as analyst alongside WILLY DAUNIC on FOX SPORTS TENNESSEE, and former crosstown ABC affiliate WKRN-TV reporter KARA HAMMER will serve as sideline reporter.
"With the popularity of the team after the run to the Cup, people want more information on the NASHVILLE PREDATORS and now we have more talent and more outlets to get that information out," PREDS Senior Director of Broadcasting and Entertainment BOB KOHL said. "With the added broadcasters, there's room for more in-depth coverage, whether it be through web, social, radio or television; not very long ago we were simulcast only on radio and television and now we have all these great additions to accommodate the need."
