LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTIAN CENTER will be able to keep the license for low power FM WLCQ-LP/FEEDING HILLS, MA after reaching a Consent Decree settling charges that the station violated underwriting announcement rules and operated from an unlicensed location with an unauthorized antenna.
SAGA COMMUNICATIONS OF NEW ENGLAND, LLC filed a Petition to Revoke License against LIGHTHOUSE alleging interference with one of its stations, claiming that the LPFM was not operating with its licensed power nor from its licensed location, was violating underwriting rules, and failed to comply with environmental and historic preservation review requirements. The Commission rejected SAGA's interference and environmental review complaints but fined LIGHTHOUSE $8.800 to settle the underwriting and location/antenna issues.
