Rumor Central: Blake Shelton To Co-Host Hurricane Harvey Benefit Telethon

WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE's BLAKE SHELTON has signed on to co-host a NASHVILLE-based portion of the upcoming HURRICANE HARVEY benefit telethon spearheaded by actor JAMIE FOXX. The telethon will reportedly take place TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th.

According to TMZ, SHELTON will be joined by actress REESE WITHERSPOON in NASHVILLE, while ABC-TV's MICHAEL STRAHAN has commited to the project, potentially as host of a NEW YORK CITY-based portion of the telethon. FOXX announced plans for the benefit via INSTAGRAM on WEDNESDAY (8/30). FOXX is a TERRELL, TX native.
