CLEAR CHANNEL received a subpoena from the U.S. Attorney in NEW YORK about advertisements its stations ran for offshore and online gambling operations, BLOOMBERG reports. The company said in a regulatory filing that it received a similar subpoena from the U.S. Attorney in MISSOURI in 2003 that required it to give details about ads it ran on behalf of companies for sports bookmaking and casino-style gambling.
CC spokeswoman LISA DOLLINGER said, "The company is cooperating with the subpoena."
