VANCE HARRISON JR. on JANUARY 1 will become Pres. Designate of the OKLAHOMA ASSN. OF BROADCASTERS and will become official Pres. when TULSA radio vet CARL SMITH steps down due to health reasons early next year.

OAB Chairman ROGER HARRIS said, "VANCE HARRISON brings a successful broadcasting background and an extensive knowledge of the OAB and the standards that have been established under CARL SMITH."

HARRISON was formerly Market Mgr. of KOMA, KMGL and KRXO in OKLAHOMA CITY and since leaving radio has been Pres./owner of CREATIVE MARKETING.
