Contemporary Christian WCLN (107.3)/FAYETTEVILLE, NC will hold its second “STAN THE MAN” AUCTION, on THURSDAY (11/16). The station accepted silent bids during an open house and auction preview on NOVEMBER 9. The 12-hour auction, held simultaneously on the air and on the station’s website, begins at 6a on THURSDAY.
“Our station is a ministry, and ministry implies service," says GM DAN DEBRULER. "This is just one way we can serve our community, and we're thankful the record labels have shown such tremendous support.”
The “STAN THE MAN” AUCTION benefits the STAN THE MAN FOUNDATION, named for Chief Warrant Officer STANLEY L. HARRIMAN. CWO HARRIMAN was killed in action in MARCH 2002, while serving as a U.S. Army Special Forces soldier in AFGHANISTAN. The non-profit organization benefits special forces soldiers and their families.
