EPITAPH artists ARCHITECTS are from BRIGHTON in the U.K. The bands lead guitar player TOM SEARLE recently passed away from cancer and his twin brother DAN plays drums in the band. Most of the lyrics of the song "Doomsday" were written by TOM while dying from cancer.
EPITAPH's National Dir. Alternative and Active Rock Promotion BRETT GREENBERG told ALL ACCESS, "The lyrical content is moving and heavy and something that is difficult to talk about."
So GREENBERG wanted to do something to help the cause. He urged Radio programmers to watch the video for “Doomsday” and let him know what the video meant to them. A winner would be chosen at random and GREENBERG would donate $1,000 to the charity of the winners choosing in their name.
GREENBERG's winner is BAILEY, the MD for iHEARTMEDIA Alternative KTCL/DENVER. BAILEY chose the CANCER LEAGUE of COLORADO in honor of her father ROBERT BAILEY who died of cancer. GREENBERG's donation comes with another challenge to donate what you can to cancer research including the CANCER LEAGUE of COLORADO linked here.
