Bill Hartew Dies

Condolences to the family and friends of BILL HARTEW, who passed away at his LOS ANGELES home. BILL apparently fell and hit his head exiting a cab after a doctor’s visit and  was treated for his injuries at a local hospital, but he was released and died hours later at home. BILL was a mainstay at ABC RADIO/LOS ANGELES for over 27 years in various capacities, including, most recently, his first love, which was the pursuit of great local music for KLOS’s "Local Licks" program.
