The FCC is proposing a maximum $144,344 fine against alleged pirate radio operators in NORTH MIAMI, FL.
The fine is being proposed against programmer FABRICE POLYNICE and property owners HAROLD and VERONISE SIDO, who the Commission said have been warned since 2012 against operating an unlicensed station at 90.1 FM in NORTH MIAMI. The Commission previously seized equipment from the location in 2012 and issued a Forfeiture Order against POLYNICE in 2013, yet, the Commission alleges, the three continued operating the station and posted video of themselves in their studio to social media. The SIDOS allegedly let POLYNICE operate from their building for free, including a shed for the studio, electricity, and Internet connectivity.
POLYNICE and the SIDOS have 30 days to respond to the Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture.
