Congratulations to the UMG NASHVILLE Digital Marketing team, which earned its first-ever ONLINE MARKETING MEDIA AND ADVERTISING (OMMA) AWARD for the INSTAGRAM takeover campaign leading up to MCA NASHVILLE's JOSH TURNER releasing his "Deep South" album. In the partnership with PARACHUTE MARKETING, the initiative consisted of a six-square INSTAGRAM takeover featuring image pieces of TURNER's album cover, in which each square played a video that highlighted a unique aspect of the record. The campaign created a digital swell during the release week that helped usher in "Deep South" as #1 debut on BILLBOARD's Top Country Albums chart.
UMG NASHVILLE Digital Marketing team members TONY GROTTICELLI and HEATHER VASSAR, who curated and managed the campaign, won the OMMA for Entertainment: Games, Movies, Music, Sports, And TV. Additionally, the team was also one of three finalists in the Sports/Live Events category, alongside NETFLIX and ESPN, with NETFLIX taking the win in that category. Direct your congratulations to GROTTICELLI here and VASSAR here.
