ASSEN PUBLISHING, INC. is selling News-Talk KIMM-A and K294BT/RAPID CITY, SD to BLACK HILLS BROADCASTING, L.L.C. for $175,000 plus a time brokerage agreement before closing.
In other filings with the FCC, AMERICAST MEDIA, LLC is selling the construction permits for a new AM (KZEZ-A) in SANTA CLARA, UT, to B. RAY CARPENTER's TRI-STAR MEDIA, LLC for $12,500 plus forgiveness of a loan made by the buyer to ROCKWELL MEDIA SERVICES, and COMMUNITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION, INC. is selling K274CQ/ST. GEORGE, UT to the same purchaser for $40,000 ($5,000 cash deposit and a promissory note for $35,000).
SOUTH JERSEY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY has requested a Silent STA for low power WXRM-LP/CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ due to transmitter repair and main studio relocation.

Also, TOWNSQUARE MEDIA has closed on its purchase of News-Talk WBEC-A, Hot AC WBEC-F (LIVE 95.9), and Classic Hits WUPE-A (WHOOPIE)/PITTSFIELD, MA and W231AK/GREAT BARRINGTON, MA from GAMMA BROADCASTING LLC and Classic Hits WUPE-F (WHOOPIE) and W277CJ/PITTSFIELD, News-Talk WNAW-A/NORTH ADAMS, MA, and News-Talk WSBS-A/GREAT BARRINGTON by acquiring the capital stock of BERKSHIRE BROADCASTING CO., INC. for $3,535,000, plus $20,000 separately to NORTHEAST AIRCHECKS, LLC for W231AK. KALIL AND CO. represented the seller in the deal.
The license of BULLIE BROADCASTING CORPORATION for WBAW-F/PEMBROKE, GA has been canceled by the FCC after a letter to the station inquiring about it being silent was returned as undeliverable.
And XANA OREGON, LLC has turned in its license for KKUJ/MONUMENT, OR.
In addition, KOVAS COMMUNICATIONS has closed on the sale of News-Talk WCGO-A/EVANSTON-CHICAGO and talk syndicator GAB RADIO to WILLIAM POLLACK's POLLACK BROADCASTING for about $3 million. POLLACK plans to retain the News-Talk format on WCGO. DICK FOREMAN served as exclusive broker for the deal.
