LOUISVILLE PUBLIC MEDIA News-Talk WFPL/LOUISVILLE has upped Environment Reporter ERICA PETERSON to Assignment Editor, assigned WFPL Metro Affairs Reporter JAKE RYAN to affiliated KENTUCKY CENTER FOR INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING, and hired KYELAND JACKSON, editor-in-chief of the independent LOUISVILLE CARDINAL paper at the UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE, as Associate Producer, working both as a General Assignment Reporter and on the team working on the launch of a new local talk show.
“We’ve built a strong news team at LPM over the past several years, and I’m thrilled that we can continue to grow,” said Exec. Editor STEPHEN GEORGE. “As we reach more listeners on the radio and readers on the web, we’re committed to meeting their needs with more in-depth coverage of our community, state and region.”
