KATIE NOLAN is joining ESPN on OCTOBER 16th and will be involved in what the network calls a "variety of projects" across multiple platforms to be announced. NOLAN recently left FOX SPORTS, where she hosted television and podcast versions of the Emmy-winning "GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN," and produced video commentaries; she joined FOX in 2013 and served as "digital correspondent" on FS1's "CROWD GOES WILD."
ESPN EVP, Content CONNOR SCHELL said, “KATIE is smart, dynamic and brings to ESPN a fresh perspective and a great sense of humor. She is a rare talent and will represent our brand incredibly well as we continue to expand across the digital space.”
NOLAN, lampooning the ESPN press release within the release itself, said, “I could not be more excited to have a prominent digital presence while also making appearances across ESPN studio programming. When I was a little girl, I always dreamed that one day announcements regarding my specific assignments would be forthcoming.”
