CRS Accepting Rusty Walker Scholarship Applicants

COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS (CRB) is now accepting applications for the 6TH ANNUAL RUSTY WALKER SCHOLARSHIP program, which provides an all-expense paid trip and attendance to COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) 2018. CRS will be held from MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5th through WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7th at NASHVILLE's OMNI HOTEL.

Interested candidates can apply now by filling out an online application here and submitting a paragraph explaining why he/she should be considered as a RUSTY WALKER SCHOLAR. Eligible applicants must be a full-time radio station employee and first time CRS attendee; three individual scholarships will be awarded full CRS 2018 registration, airfare, and hotel expenses for three nights, and will be recognized at the CRS 2018 opening ceremonies. This scholarship program was created to honor the memory COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME member RUSTY WALKER, who was instrumental in the mentoring and development of many current and former Country radio professionals. WALKER passed away in MAY 2012 at the age of 59 (NET NEWS 5/22/12).
