'Broadway's Backyard' Morning Show Debuts Monday At WDSY (Y108)/Pittsburgh

CBS RADIO Country WDSY (Y108)/PITTSBURGH is launching "BROADWAY'S BACKYARD" morning show with BILL BERT, a.k.a. "BROADWAY," starting MONDAY, OCTOBER 9th. Most recently handling mornings at iHEARTMEDIA Country WWYZ/HARTFORD, BROADWAY's radio resume includes stops at iHEART Country sister WBCT/GRAND RAPIDS and crosstown Top 40 WSNX. BROADWAY succeeds ALLY BUTLER and ANDY DAVIS, who left the station in JUNE (NET NEWS 6/19).

"BROADWAY brings the total package to Y108," said CBS RADIO/PITTSBURGH VP/Programming MARK ANDERSON. "He’s dynamic and engaging, with a fresh approach to morning radio. His 'BROADWAY'S BACKYARD' will bring an entirely new and unique option to our current and prospective future listeners in PITTSBURGH."

The station had previously announced it would unveil its new morning show at tonight's "GIRLS WITH GUITARS" show at RIVERS CASINO (NET NEWS 9/27). Listeners can meet BROADWAY during the "BROADWAY BUYS YOU A BEER" event from 6p-7p (ET). "I am excited to join a heritage station with a reputation like Y108’s," said BROADWAY. "CBS RADIO has the right mindset: local radio wins. I can’t wait to debut my new show, make new friends, and have fun."
