RTDNA Hands Out 2017 Murrow Awards At Gala

The RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS ASSOCIATION handed out the 2017 National EDWARD R. MURROW AWARDS at a gala in NEW YORK last night (10/9) to the winners it announced in JUNE (NET NEWS 6/20/17). 122 awards in 15 categories were presented at the event, with presenters including CNN's BRIAN STELTER, NPR's SONARI GLINTON, ABC NEWS RADIO's ALEX STONE and SCOTT GOLDBERG, CBS NEWS RADIO's STEVE KATHAN, NBC's KATE SNOW, CBS NEWS' BIANNA GOLODRYGA, and RTDNA Chair SCOTT LIBIN.
Among the winners, CBS NEWS RADIO won for overall excellence at the network level, HUBBARD News WTOP/WASHINGTON took home overall excellence in large market radio, and NEW HAMPSHIRE PUBLIC RADIO was the winner of overall excellence in small market radio; NPR and CBS both won three awards in the network radio division, while in large market radio, NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO News-Talk WNYC-A-F/NEW YORK and WTOP each won two awards; and in small market radio, NHPR won three awards.See the full list of radio winners as announced in JUNE by clicking here.
