2017 Third Coast/Driehaus Foundation Competition Winners Announced

The winners of the THIRD COAST INTERNATIONAL AUDIO FESTIVAL's 2017 THIRD COAST/RICHARD H. DRIEHAUS FOUNDATION Competition for radio shows and podcasts have been announced, selected from a record 604 entries from 21 countries.
The winners include:
- STITCHER's THE LONGEST SHORTEST TIME, "The Accidental Gay Parents, Episode 5"
- LOVE + RADIO, "Blink Once for Yes"
- NPR's "ALL THINGS CONSIDERED," "Emancipation: A Young Man Leaves Foster Care on His Own Terms"
- GIMLET MEDIA's "HEAVYWEIGHT," "Gregor"
- NPR's "RADIO AMBULANTE," "Los Cassettes del Exilio"
- NPR's "ALL THINGS CONSIDERED," "MAJD’s Diary: Two Years in the Life of a Saudi Girl"
- BIRSt (BIRMINGHAM INTERNET RADIO STATION), "Quiet Revolution"
- THE CENTER FOR INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING's REVEAL, "Standing Out From the Crowd at a TRUMP Rally"
- THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL's "S-TOWN"
- POCKETDOCS' "THE DISCUSSION"
- NPR's "74 SECONDS," "The Traffic Stop"
The exact awards won by each will be disclosed at a NOVEMBER 11th awards ceremony in CHICAGO, hosted by "THE ALLUSIONIST" and "ANSWER ME THIS" host HELEN ZALTZMAN.
