CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WBZY (1053 THE BUZZ)/ATLANTA appoints former crosstown SUSQUEHANNA Alternative WNNX (99X) PD CHRIS WILLIAMS as its new PD. WILLIAMS, who spent seven years at 99X, has been working as a consultant for the re-launch of WBZY since MAY. In addition to his PD duties, WILLIAMS will handle PM Drive. Also, former 99X jock WHIP shifts from afternoons to mornings.

CLEAR CHANNEL/ATLANTA RVPP MIKE WHEELER said, “CHRIS’s experience in the market and in the format will make him a terrific leader for 1053 THE BUZZ. We’re excited to have him on our team.”
