NEXTMEDIA Top 40 WERO (BOB 93.3)/GREENVILLE-NEW BERN-JACKSONVILLE PD TONY WAITEKUS returns to his native MIDWEST, as he's been named PD at MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 WIXX/GREEN BAY.

Before taking the PD post at WERO earlier this year, WAITEKUS served as PD for many years at the former WHTS/QUAD CITIES, IA-IL. He also was a long-term programmer at WCIL/CARBONDALE, IL.

MIDWEST VP/Programming JEFF MCCARTHY told ALL ACCESS, "We’re excited to have TONY as the next addition to the long-winning history of WIXX. He shares the same passion and respect for radio as we do at MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS."

Back at WERO, APD/MD CHRIS "HOLLYWOOD" MANN becomes acting PD until further notice.
