WAVV/Naples Deleted From Ft. Myers Summer '17 Book

NIELSEN has delisted ALPINE BROADCASTING Easy Listening WAVV/NAPLES, FL from the FORT MYERS-NAPLES SUMMER book. 

In the “Special Notices” section, NIELSEN wrote, "NIELSEN has evidence that [a] household of WAVV corporate executives obtained and returned SUMMER 2017 survey diaries for inclusion in this book. Although these diaries were not included in the in-tab sample, the household’s attempted participation as diarykeepers raised serious concerns.” 

A NIELSEN spokesperson told ALL ACCESS, "Providing reliable data is NIELSEN’s top priority. After a thorough analysis and a comprehensive review, NIELSEN has decided to delist WAVV-FM from the SUMMER 2017 FT. MYERS-NAPLES Radio Market Report, based on a violation of NIELSEN’s Media Affiliation standards and rules. No known media-affiliated diaries were included in the in-tab sample."
