FCC Pauses Sinclair-Tribune 'Shot Clock' To Allow For More Comments

The FCC is putting the 180-day "shot clock" governing the SINCLAIR BROADCAST GROUP purchase of TRIBUNE MEDIA on hold to allow for additional comments to be submitted.
The proceeding is being held up for 15 days, until NOVEMBER 2nd, and is allowing commenters to file by that date "in the interest of a complete record." The initial pleading cycle closed on AUGUST 29th and the applicants filed their response to the FCC's request for additional information and clarification on OCTOBER 5th.
