Doug MacGunnigle Upped To APD At WPRO-WPRV/Providence

CUMULUS News-Talk WPRO-A-WEAN and News-Talk-Business WPRV-A/PROVIDENCE Producer and Digital Content Director DOUG MACGUNNIGLE has been upped to APD.  MACGUNNIGLE started as a weekend board op at WPRO in 2002, later adding production and on-air work at sister Top 40/Rhythmic WWKX (HOT 106) and Top 40 WPRO-F (92 PRO FM).  He left in 2011 to serve as Executive Producer at crosstown iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WHJJ-A and returned in MAY 2015 to WPRO-A as MATT ALLEN’s producer.  

New WPRO and WPRV PD NEIL LARRIMORE said, “Doug has been an integral part of WPRO-AM and WPRV-AM for many years, and has served as a backbone through a particularly tough period of change over the last 24 months. It’s the perfect time to start him on the next step of his career. I’m proud to name him as Assistant Program Director.”
