THE BOSTON GLOBE reports that the former Speaker Of The House THOMAS M. FINNERAN is in discussions with ENTERCOM Talk WRKO-A/BOSTON to host a radio show.
FINNERAN stepped down as Speaker in SEPTEMBER 2004. He would not go on the air until after perjury and obstruction of justice charges against him are resolved, according to THE GLOBE. The case is scheduled to go to trial in JANUARY.
The station has been looking to replace JOHN DEPETRO, the morning host who was fired after calling Green-Rainbow Party gubernatorial candidate GRACE ROSS a "fat lesbian."
