Joe Mantegna Hosts KVTA/Ventura's Halloween Radio Drama 'Houdini's Secret Life'

Actor JOE MANTEGNA hosted this year's HALLOWEEN radio drama on GOLD COAST BROADCASTING News-Talk KVTA-A/VENTURA, CA. "HOUDINI'S SECRET LIFE" aired SATURDAY and SUNDAY and will re-air on TUESDAY evening at 6 and 9p (PT). The show was the 27th annual production raising money for KVTA's fund for CHILDREN'S SERVICES OF VENTURA COUNTY AUXILIARY.
The show, produced with EVERY NOW AND THEN THEATRE in VENTURA and CONEJO PLAYERS THEATRE in THOUSAND OAKS, included magician PAUL DWORK and 24 featured actors, including KVTA Production Director BOB ALLEN, MR. MASTER'S VP MARIA LAING, and theatre troupe founder and the show's original writer/co-director/co-producer JAMES M. WORTMAN along with music from MICHAEL MASLEY. VENTURA COUNTY resident MANTEGNA, the star of CBS' "CRIMINAL MINDS" and an Emmy and Tony Award winner, introduced each act, talked about additional facts in the breaks, and delivered the epilogue.
