MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO Triple A KCMP (THE CURRENT)/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL’s MARK WHEAT is broadcasting live TODAY (11/2) and TOMORROW (11/3) from 10a-2p from the ICELAND AIRWAVES MUSIC FESTIVAL.

WHEAT is broadcasting from the AKUREYRI'S GÖTUBARINN nightclub, bringing CURRENT listeners interviews, performances and a few cultural insights as well.  His guests will include Icelandic superstar ÁSGEIR, rising band MAMMÚT and many others.

The five-day festival features ICELANDIC as well as International artists.
